Temporomandibular joint helps in moving the jaw up and down, side to side, therefore making us talk, chew, and yawn. Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are the result of problems with the jaw and the muscles in face.
The symptoms of the TMJ dysfunction range from Clicking sounds in the Joint, Pain in the facial region, Difficulty in chewing food, Headaches, Limited, and sometimes painful, opening and movements of the jaw and headache as a result of misalignment of the teeth and jaws, trauma and pathological conditions.
